Joseph L. Keith
Joseph L. Keith, 88, of Mogadore, went home to be with the Lord on July 27, 2008. Joseph was born October 22, 1919 in Nantyglo, Pennsylvania to the late Elzie and Bertha Keith. He served as a military policeman in the U.S. Army during World War II and retired from Lamson and Sessions-RB&W after 36 years. Joseph was a member of First Apostolic Church in Tallmadge for 44 years where he served as an usher, Sunday School teacher, and driver. Joseph was preceded in death by an infant son; daughter, Carol Keith; three sisters and one brother. He is survived by his loving wife, Caroline June; sons, Larry (Nancy) Keith of Akron and Ronald (Ruth) Keith of Tallmadge; daughters, Karen (Joseph) Boyd of Springfield and Paula (David) Barry of Akron; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; five sisters and one brother. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Visitation from 12-1 followed by a 1 p.m. funeral service on Thursday at First Apostolic Church, 199 South Ave., Tallmadge, Pastor Kenneth Bulgrin officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
