Joseph L. Probeck, 61, of Munroe Falls, passed away due to complications from kidney disease on October 31, 2010. He is survived by his son, Joseph J. Probeck; grandson, Connor; brother, Frederick III; "adopted son", Don Krieger; significant other, Carolyn Batton; extended family, Tom and Dawn Batton, Laura Batton and Scott Miller, Scott and Melinda Batton and their children, Joe's "grandchildren", Christian, Jacob, and Thomas A.; aunt, Eva Hammaker; cousins, Phil Martin, Jim Martin, and their families; and many friends and neighbors. A memorial service will be held at Bethany United Church of Christ, 1235 Broad Blvd, Cuyahoga Falls, on Wednesday, November 24th at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Stephen Gehlert officiating. Should you desire, memorials may be made to Hospice of VNS, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Copley, OH 44333 or Bethany United Church of Christ in Joe's memory.
