Joseph M. Arconti, Sr.
Joseph M. Arconti, Sr., 78, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away April 25, 2011. He was born in Akron, Ohio on January 25, 1933 to the late Angelo and Julia (Rabb) Arconti. Joe graduated from North High School in 1951 and enlisted in the U.S. Army. He proudly served in Korea during the Korean Conflict. Joe was a 50 year member of Bricklayers Local 7 and retired as the Northern Ohio Administrator for District Council Local 7. He was a longtime member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and BPO Elks #1923. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Loretta (Miragliotta) Arconti; daughters, LuAnn Arconti and Julie (Wally) White; sons, Joseph M. Arconti, Jr., Anthony (Megan) Arconti, and Michael G. Arconti; dear brother, Thomas F. Arconti; grandchildren, Ryan and Christine Wiley (Steve Boak), Jacob A., Kaylyn, and Paige Arconti, Brandon and Bailey White; great-grandson, Jacob S. Arconti; beloved doxies, Fritz and Gracie; good friend, Ray Lafeber; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family wishes to thank Drs. Dankoff and Patel, and Summa/Hospice for Joe's excellent care. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at CLIFFORD-SHOEMAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. Prayers will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls with Rev. Fr. Thomas W.
