Joseph Marchese, Sr.

Joseph Marchese, Sr., 89, passed away on March 5, 2012. Joe served with the US Navy during WWII. He retired from P.I.E. Trucking Co. after 20 years of service. Joe enjoyed fishing and playing poker. Preceded in death by his wife, Esther. Survivors include his children, Linda (Butch) Kelley, Joe (Debbie) Marchese, Renee (Tom) Ukolowicz, Sam Marchese, and Steve (Mary) Marchese; grandchildren, Michelle Lewis, Tony Kelley, Kara, Jillian, and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Racheal, Abigail, and Alec; 2 sisters. Calling hours will be Thursday, 5-7 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Akron City Hospital.
