Joseph Patrick Albanese, 45, died December 12, 2007.
He was born on January 23, 1962 and resided in Akron his entire life. He graduated from St. Vincent St. Mary High School where he excelled in wrestling. He was a faithful worker for the Big Framing Contracting Co. where he used his gift of carpentry. He was a devoted son who took excellent care of his mother. Joey was a sensitive, gentle and quite soul.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Albanese and father, Joseph Albanese. Joey is survived by mother, Patricia Albanese; son, Ryan of North Carolina; brothers, Paul (Dorothy), Michael (Brenda), James (Victoria), Vincent; and sister, Marie Albanese; nephews, Kevin (Heather), Clifford, Christopher; nieces, Kelly (Jim), Amanda, Samantha, Kaitlin and Ariel; great-nephews, K.J., Conner and Colin and great-niece, Lilly. He is also survived by many loving cousins, special cousin, Lori DeLuca, many aunts and uncles and his good friend, Pat Castner.
Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent Church, with Father Joseph Kraker officiating. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.
