Joseph J Shinsky Jr

Joseph J. Shinsky Jr. aged 70 went home to be with the Lord on February 5, 2022.
He was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania in July 1951 and had resided in Stow, Ohio since 1988. "Big Joe from Stow" as everyone knew him, was the son of Joseph and Betty Shinsky also of New Castle. Joe retired from the Sherwin-Williams Company in 2013 after 33 years of service as the Data Processing Manager.
Joe enjoyed spending time with his wife and family and on trips to his camp in Marienville, PA. Joe was an avid hunter and enjoyed a lifelong tradition of making the first day of deer season a family holiday. In addition to hunting and fishing, Joe truly enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events and extracurricular activities. Joe never met anyone who he couldn't talk to and was always the life of the party. Joe went on many trips with the love of his life, Nancy and together they saw much of the world. Big Joe touched many lives and all who knew him were better for it. He will be greatly missed by everyone.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years Nancy; children, Nate (Heather) Shinsky, Melissa Jarvis (Dave Fuerst) and John (Taylor) Shinsky; 7 grandchildren Seth Shinsky, Hunter Shinsky, Amber Shinsky, Allison Jarvis, Colin Jarvis, Adrianna Shinsky, Elliana Shinsky, Ayla Hargett; sister Betty Jo Jones; nephew Tom (Ruth) Jones; great nephew Tommy Jones; and great niece Brooke Jones.
