Joseph P. Shuman, Jr., age 80 of Akron passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. He was born in Uniontown, PA on October 10, 1940, the son of the late Joseph P. Shuman Sr. and Agnes {Gazdacko} Shuman.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his brother Bill and brother-in-law Joseph Pillitiere.
Joseph's memory will always be cherished by his loving wife of 55 years, Wanda; sons Michael and Mark Shuman; grandson William Shuman; brother Chuck (Janet) Shuman; sisters Dorothy Derrick and Martha Pillitiere.
Per Joseph's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal services. For those who wish, donations in Joseph's memory may be made to the Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd, Akron, OH 44333. To leave a message for Joseph's family, please scroll below.
