Joseph M. Szaraz, age 62 of Uniontown passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021. He was born in Akron on January 2, 1959 to Darlene C. (Dwight) {Thone} Morrison and Joseph H. Szaraz.
Joe was preceded in death by his daughter, Leslie Marshall.
Joe will be greatly missed by his parents, Darlene and Dwight Morrison; children, Joseph V. "Charlie" Szaraz, Jacob R. Szaraz and Angela (John) Beck; Spencer Seefeldt, who was like a son to Joe; grandchildren, Emily and Erin Marshall; brother, Steve (Sherry) Szaraz; sister, Dee Dee Breedlove; nephews, Brandon and Dustin Szaraz and niece, Megan Szaraz and their families; aunts Sandra Phillips and Martha Sue Saracsan.
Joe was a devoted father and son, and had countless friends. He loved hunting, fishing and making people laugh.
Per Joe's wishes, cremation has taken place, and he will be laid to rest next to Leslie at Greenlawn Cemetery, Uniontown. A Mass of Resurrection will be officiated by Rev. David Haliako at Nativity of The Lord Jesus Catholic Church, 2425 Myersville Rd., Akron, OH 44312 on Saturday, December 4 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass begins. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Joe's name to the Oak Clinic for Multiple Sclerosis, 3838 Massillon Rd., Ste. 360, Uniontown OH 44685 or Nativity of the Lord Jesus Catholic Church.
