Josephine Church, 81, went to be with the Lord on August 3, 2006 surrounded by her husband and children. Josephine will always be remembered for her devotion to her family. She was a loving, kindhearted wife, mother and grandmother and was very proud of the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her. Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary; brothers and sisters, Mitchell, Joseph, Elizabeth, Lorease, and Ernie; and son-in-law, Tim. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard Lee; children, Richard, Dianne, and Mary and son-in-law, Richard; grandsons, Christopher, Richard, Jason, Richard III, Joshua, and Robert; granddaughter, Jaclyn; great-granddaughters, Maria and Saniah; brothers, George and Edmond; sister, Rosemary; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. The family would like to give heartfelt thanks to everyone at Hospice of VNS for the care given to Josephine. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church on Brown St. Everyone please meet at church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
