Josephine Mae Pinczes

Josephine Mae Pinczes, age 89 of Akron, Ohio, died on September 10, 2022 at her home.
She was born on April 1, 1933 in Caldwell, Ohio, the daughter of the late Russell and Mary (nee McLaughlin) Poling.
Josephine retired from Aerospace as a spray painter after 17 years of service. She loved to bowl and was on several leagues, she also enjoyed reading, traveling and even lived for a while in Spring Hill, Florida.
Josephine was an active and faithful member of the Higher Praise Ministries in Akron.
She was a devoted and loving wife to her husband of 61 years, George A. Pinczes, whom she married on September 2, 1961; she was an exceptional mother to her four children, Marilyn Dodson, George R. Pinczes, the late Cheryl Wilcox and Karen (Michael) Martin; and her several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Josephine is also survived by her siblings, Russell (Linda) Poling and Kathleen Sitarenios.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, where Pastor Fred Webb will celebrate Josephine's life.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Sunday, September 18, 2022.
