Josephine V. Seese

Josephine "Doety" V. Seese, 84, passed away on January 9, 2012 at Akron General Medical Center, after a brief illness. She was a 40 year member and Past Madam President of Akron Eagles Aerie 555. She was a Coventry Alumni, retired from Sears after many years, and was a good friend to all. Doety was preceded in death by her husband, James; and sister, Louise Kaylor. She is survived by sister, Judy Giovainni; daughters, Pat Wall and Kathy Holtz (Henry); and son, Jim Seese (Diane Guzzo); 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Doety was a special lady who enjoyed life. She will be greatly missed. Calling hours will be Saturday, 12-2 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m., Pastor Jack Kozak officiating. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
