Joyce Ann Burch (nee Butera)
Joyce Ann Burch, 75, of Akron, passed away July 9, 2011. She was born in Yorkville, Ohio on July 5, 1936 to the late Warren and Ruth Cochrane. Joyce will always be remembered as an excellent cook. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nora Lee Burch; son, Kevin A. Burch; sister, Donna Jo Codier; brother, Charles Cochrane; son-in-law, Walter Hoge; and grandson, Ben Hoge. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Sherry Hoge; sons, James R. (Jackie) Burch and Joe (Mary) Burch; sisters, Ruth Cochrane and Edna Elliott; brothers, Warren (Diane), Gary (Genny), Alan, and Chet Cochrane; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11-1 followed by a 1:00 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sherry Hoge.
