Joyce Ann Longbottom

Joyce Ann Longbottom, 84, of Suffield Township, passed away on March 29, 2023. She was born on November 13, 1938 to the late George and Margaret {Waller} Brenneman.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her granddaughter Rachael Pinto.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband Robert; sons Jerry (Carol) and Mark (Amy) Pinto; step-daughter, Cheryl Hedges; step-son Gary Longbottom; granddaughters Trisha and Courtney Pinto, Kristin (Ricky Bochert) Canary and Liane (Dan) Sehrt; grandsons Troy and Evan Stricker and Bryan (Lindsay) Longbottom; great-granddaughters Brooklynn Longbottom, Adaline and Payton Sehrt.
Joyce worked as a secretary to the medical director at Goodyear for over 40 years. She was a member of Suffield United Church of Christ, and also attended Evermore Community Church in Hartville. Music was a huge part of Joyce's life, and led to her involvement in local musical organizations. Joyce was also a part of the Suffield Historical Society.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Monday, April 3 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Ross Miller and Pastor Karin Wright officiating. To leave a special message for the family online, please scroll below.
