Joyce passed away peacefully with her family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mark will always love and remember the girl he fell in love with and the beautiful woman she grew into.

She loved the outdoors, crafts, family vacations to the beach and spending time with her beloved grandchildren and pets. By far, the most important part of her life was her family; Joyce was a caregiver at heart and will be forever remembered, missed and loved by those who knew her.

Joyce is preceded in death by her daughter, Traci Renee, Parents David and Lottie Grass, sister Wanettia Rex, Father in law, Gerald Allen and Brother in law Brian Sinley.

She is survived by her loving husband Mark of 38 years; son, Tom; daughter, Heather (Rich); grandchildren, Kristian, Jenna, Timmy, Cassidy, Riley, Kayla, Kyle, Kasey; great granddaughter, Ava; sister, Dora; brothers Chuck (IL), Garry; Mother in law Margaret Allen and numerous in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her puppy Jada.

Family will receive friends on Friday, March 4, 2016 , from 4p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home,131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, Ohio 44305. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Greenwood cemetery.

Joyce was not much for formal occasions. Please dress in your comfy, casual clothes because that is how she would remember you.
