Joyce A. Seger Milligan

Heaven welcomed another angel, Joyce A. Seger Milligan, 93, on September 18, 2021. Her life was devoted to God and her family, especially her disabled son, Billy. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, writing poems, and hanging out with her grandchildren. She also was a great cook. She was employed as an administrative assistant for many different companies before retiring from Akron Beacon Journal at the age of 70. She was a member of both Hillwood Chapel and Maranatha churches.

Joyce was proceeded in death by her husbands, William E. Seger Sr. and Warren Milligan. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Kemp, Susan Barker, Connie Newman (Randy), and Kathleen Watts (Richard); son, William E. Seger Jr.; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation Friday, September 24 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service at 12:00pm. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park to follow.
