J.R. Hobbs

J.R. Hobbs, 47, of Portage Lakes, passed away suddenly on January 31, 2020 of natural causes. He loved cooking, football (especially the Ravens), and spending time with his family.
J.R. will be deeply missed by his wife of 15 years, Kathy Keller; son, Max Keller; mother and father-in-law, Nancy and Larry Spier; brothers-in-law, Mark (Anna) Keller and Steven (Katey) Spier; special aunts, Mary Taylor, Cheryl McGowan, and Kathleen (Bart) Pasquale; nieces, Amelia, Ava, and Norah; and many other extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday February 15, 2020 at 12pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305. Visitation will take place an hour prior, and will continue until 2pm following the service.
