Juanita J. Heatwall, 73, of Tallmadge, passed away January 29, 2016. Juanita was born in Akron, Ohio on February 4, 1942 to the late Lester and Lois Collier. Juanita was a retired Deputy with the Summit County Sheriff's Office, and was also a member of the FOP #139. She had an unforgettable personality, a great love of animals, and she will be dearly missed by all.
In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert; sisters, Lois Cole and Carolyn Owens, and step-son, George Thomas.
She is survived by children Raymond (Tina) Heatwall, John (Shelley) Heatwall, Deidre Heatwall, and Janet Baggett; grandchildren, Derek (Ashley), Tim, Erica (Jonathan), Jarett, and Josh; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm at The Chapel, Akron Campus, 135 Fir Hill, Akron, OH 44304, where funeral service will be held in the Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 11:00 am.
