Juanita J. Smith, 81, passed away on July 25, 2008. She was born in Akron on June 27, 1927 to the late Forrest and Orpha Givens. Juanita was a member of Grace Baptist Church and loved her family dearly. Survivors include her beloved husband Stanley of 63 years; daughter Donna (George) Asbury; sons Jerry (Becky), Jack (Fran), and Douglas (Kathy); 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister Jean Holmstrom; and brother Earl (Marie) Givens. Calling hours will be Monday, 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m., Pastor Phil Hulgin officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
