Juanita M. Strittmatter

Juanita M. Strittmatter, 70, passed away unexpectedly on May 30, 2024. Born in Akron, Ohio to Paul and Dorothy Grimes, she resided in the area most of her life. Juanita was a proud U. S. Army Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. She later worked in the medical field for many years. Juanita enjoyed babysitting, watching soap operas, shopping and spending time with her husband.

In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her brother, Doug. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 24 years, Jim Strittmatter; children, Markus, Seaglenda, Jobec, Michael; several grandchildren and a great granddaughter; siblings, Sandy, Ernie, Tina.

Family and friends are invited to attend the service with military honors Friday, June 7, 2024 at 1:15 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, OH 44273. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Juanita's name to the Veteran's organization of their choice.
