Judith Ann Campbell

Judy Ann Campbell, age 80, of Akron, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 26, 2020.
She was born on December 14, 1939, the daughter of the late Frank P. and Myrtle Jones. She was an only child.
She graduated from East High School in 1957. Judy worked for the Akron Public Library, the National Park Service, and retired from the Summit County Adult Probation Department.
Survivors include her high school sweetheart and husband of 62 years, Adam C. Campbell who married her on his 20th birthday, April 19, 1958. They went on to have five children: Stephen (Toni), John (Lisa), Scott (Renee), Brenda (Rick), and Jay (Marsha); ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren with number eleven due in March.
Judy proudly earned her bachelor's degree in her forties after raising her family.
She was kind, she was considerate, she was thoughtful. She loved reading, she loved her cats, she loved Diet Coke. But most of all, she loved her family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 12 noon - 2:00 followed by a 2:00 p.m. funeral service with Rev. Glenn George and Rev. James Allshouse officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
The family wishes to thank Hospice of Summa for their compassion and care that they provided for Mom. We also want to thank her oncologist, Dr. Bradley Clifford.
