Judith Ann Day

Judith Ann Day, 74, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on August 9, 2018. She was born in Tucker CO, WV on February 21, 1944 to the late Theodore and Nellie Day. She retired from Fairlawn Country Club in 2015 after 15 years of service. Judith also spent part of her life taking care of her mother who was very ill. She loved shopping at the mall, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by brothers, Fred and Jim Day; sister, Kathryn Murphy; and special niece, Cindy Klockenga. She is survived by her sisters, Sharlene (Frank) Carr; and Mona Bonner, both of Akron; and Norma Hylton of East Palestine, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Monday August 13, 2018 from 6-8pm and funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 14, 2018 at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Friends may visit from 10-11am. Pastor Sherman Bailey officiating. Interment Hillside Memorial Park.
