Judith L. Farrar

Judith L. "Judy" Farrar, 73, of Akron, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 4, 2021. She was born in Cambridge, Ohio to parents Grover and Mabel Farrar on March 19, 1947.
Preceding her in death is her lovely mother, Mabel; and sisters Colleen and Kathy Farrar.
Left to cherish Judy's memory is her beloved husband of 47 years, Jim; children, Barb (Bernie) Balit, and Tim (Jen) Farrar; grandchildren, Eliana, TJ, Michael and Baylee; father, Grover; sisters, Darlene (David) Pickens, Mary (Kevin) Doan, Kristine Farrar, Jill (Kevin) Scanlon, Heather (Matt) Greif; brothers, Danny Farrar, David (Kaye) Farrar, and Mike Farrar; many nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing, she retired from New Beginnings Maternity Center. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and faithfully served the Honey Bees children's ministry. Judy was a poet who blessed friend and family with her gift of words. She enjoyed gardening and watching things grow, and was an avid reader.
A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at later date by the family at Grace Baptist Church.
