Judith A. Hunt (nee Watkins), 64, of Newcomerstown, Ohio was peacefully called home to be with the Lord as she was surrounded by her children, grandchildren and sister on March 22, 2021.
Judy was born September 11th, 1956 and raised in Akron, Ohio. She attended Akron Public Schools. During her attendance at Ellet High School she met her former husband Thomas Hunt. They married in 1973 and had two daughters, Barbara and Angela. They then relocated their family to Newcomerstown, Ohio in 1988 where they opened a business. After their separation she continued to reside in Newcomerstown, Ohio. When her mother became ill she traveled back and forth to N. Canton Ohio. For several years, she spent the majority of her time in N. Canton with her mother as she helped her sister, Susan, care for her in her home.
In February of 2020 Judy began a battle with Small Cell Lung Cancer. She never lost hope, she drew closer to God and fought the good fight. Early that Monday morning, March 22nd, The Lord found fit to receive her in His arms and granted her the healing she deserves in Heaven. Judy was surrounded at her bedside by her family who filled the room with love and comfort as she left this earth to go home with God. Although we are extremely saddened we are blessed with knowing that she is in the hands of the Lord.
She is survived by her children, Barbara (David) Templeton; Angela Hunt; grandchildren, Marcus (Sariah) Conethan, Kendra (Michael) Cleveland, Alyssa (George) Jackson, Brennan Wilkin, Cayden Wilkin, Darshan Conethan and JaNyla Chapman; great grandchildren, Marcel and MarLiyah Conethan, Makenzie, Makara and Michael Jr Cleveland; sister, Susan Pletcher; sister in laws, Ginger VanNostran and Pamela Watkins; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
