Judith Lynne Johns, 76, of Akron, passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2018.
She was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on March 21, 1942 to the late Lawrence and Mildred Johns.
Judith retired from Acme Fresh Market, having worked in several stores. In her free time, Judy enjoyed traveling to casinos, collecting baseball cards, and spending time with family. She truly loved being a grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patty Reed. She will be deeply missed by her sons, T.J. (Laura) Johns, Richard Starkey, Jon Starkey, and Michael (Antoinette) Starkey; sister, Sandy (Roger) Vernon; brother, Bill Johns; grandchildren, Roman Johns, Logan Starkey, and Gabrielle Starkey; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
