Judith K. Edwards

Judith K. Edwards, 69, of New Franklin, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 6, 2016 in Akron, Ohio. She was born on November 23, 1946 in Akron, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Katherine Fish and was a graduate of Kenmore High School. The most important thing in her life was being a grandmother to her 10 grandchildren. Judy dedicated her life to selflessly taking care of others and putting their needs before her own. In her spare time, she enjoyed going shopping at Target.

Judy is survived by sons, James "Lonnie" Edwards, Jr. and John D. (Bonnie) Edwards; grandchildren, Gabby, Andrew, Ona, Tyler, Katie, Robert, Branden, Tori, J.D., and Harlow; brother, John Fish; and several cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Friends and family may call 5-8 pm on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
