Judy Lynn Gibson

Judy Lynn Gibson, age 67, of Akron passed away on September 22, 2024. She was born on April 8, 1957, to the late Randall and Catherine Minter. She was a graduate of Central Hower High School class of 1976. Judy was very thrifty and enjoyed good deals. She also enjoyed walking. Judy loved her family, friends, and the Oak Ridge Boys. 

Judy is survived by her children April (Michael) McDaniel, and Samuel Gibson; grandchildren Shawn (Candice)McDaniel, and Makayla McDaniel; great-grandchild Ember McDaniel; sisters Patricia (Frank) Seiler, and Sue Adams; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Starla Marie Gibson, siblings Timothy Randall Minter, and Cindy Clotfelter. 

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 30, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12-1 prior to the service on Monday. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Peace Cemetery.
