Judy A. Wiant

Judy A. Wiant, 75, went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2017 surrounded by her sons, daughters and grand-children. She was born August 4,1942 in Akron, OH to late parents, Charles and Mary Wise. Judy was active in volunteering for the Tallmadge Alliance Church. She enjoyed crosswords, cross-stitching and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Judy was a very generous, outgoing person with her time and resources, a loving mother, and a devoted wife. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lee Wiant. She is survived by her children, Tim (Cheryl) Wiant, Dennis (Debbie) Wiant, Rodger (Lucy) Wiant; grandchildren, Justin (Megan), Tom (Meghan), Ben, Megan (Chris), Sue (Jeff), Robert (Sarah); great-grandchildren, Lily, Evie; sister, Cathy; brother, Chuck; beloved cat, Gracie; and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am - 12:30pm on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Service will take place at 12:30pm. Interment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Diabetes Association.
