Julia Reneé Watters (nee May), our loving wife and mother, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 16, 2011. Born December 21, 1960. Julie worked for Giant Eagle in Streetsboro where she loved serving her customers as head clerk in the bakery department. She had a great zest for life and threw her heart and soul into her family, friends, and her garden that she loved to have parties in for everyone to enjoy. She loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother (Nana). Preceded in death by her dad, Glenn May and grandson, Lil Bob. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, John; daughters, Jillian Watters (fiancée Randy), Jessica; sons, John and Jeremy; grandkids, Cheyanne, Caitlin, and Madison, whom she adored; mother, Mary May; sister, Beth May (Chuck); brothers, Denny (Pam) May, Duane (Kristie) May; sister-in-law, Mary May; very special childhood friends, Cheryl Alderson and Tina Davis; mother-in-law, Zelda Watters; a host of in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who loved her very much. She was the glue that held everything together and will be deeply missed. Goodbye, sweet lady, WE LOVE YOU! Calling hours will be Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m., with Pastor Darlene Garber officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
