Julia Stierl
Julia Stierl, 90, passed away January 8, 2008. Julia was born in Akron on April 4, 1917 to the late Steve and Veronica Horvath. She will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Throughout the years she enjoyed membership in garden clubs and volunteering at Zion Lutheran Church. Julia was preceded in death by her husband, George; son, George; and great-great-grandson, Dakota. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Ilg and Veronica (Frank) Pesko; son, David (Patricia) Stierl; sisters, Mary (Bill) Balk and Betty Franke; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call TODAY from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
