June A. Hayes
June A. Hayes, 70, went home to her mansion in Heaven on June 24, 2011. She was born in Akron on October 28, 1940 to the late Carl and Catherine Olds. June was a talented artist and loved to write poetry. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Howard Hayes; one son; four brothers; and one sister. She is survived by daughters, Sharron (Greg) Hodsden and Alicia (Don) Calaway; one daughter; three sons; two sisters; two brothers; fourteen grandchildren; great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and lifelong friends. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., Rev. John Knepper officiating. Interment at Standing Rock Cemetery.
