June 11, 1946 — February 6, 2018
Our precious mother, grandmother and wife, June Rose (Blough) Bucca, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. She was born on June 11, 1946, in Cherry Tree, PA to Amaniah Blough and Ethel (O'Hara) Blough.
She joins them in Heaven along with sisters Goldie Kuzmish, Ruth Jones, Nora Blough, and Bertha Bathurst, and brother John Blough. She also joins her beloved poodle, Dolly.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Carmen Bucca, who loved her dearly, sons Anthony and Mark, and daughter Michelle (James) Romano. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life, Annemarie, Angela and James Romano. She is also survived by her brother Terry Blough, and sisters Wanda Blough and Bess Wilkinson. June was the sweetest and most precious lady and she will be missed terribly.
The family wishes to express sincere thanks to Dr. Michael Chandler and the staff in the ICU Department of Akron City Hospital.
Family will welcome guests for visitation on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 11 am-1 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron., followed by the funeral service to begin at 1 pm. June will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 1:45 pm. To leave a special message for the family online, please sign the guestbook below.
