June M. Lough
June M. Lough, 83, passed away with her family beside her. She went home to be with the Lord and into the arms of her husband. Preceded in death by her husband, John W. Lough; and granddaughter, Diana M. Donnelly. Surviving June are 4 daughters, Patty Northrop, Shirley Mitan (Steve), Jeanie Riddle (Harry), and Missy Marquardt (Jon); 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosie Smith, and Carrie Miller; and her beloved companions, Shellbee, Bandit, Baron, Chewy, and Chloe. June was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved Florida, and lived there for 16 years. She devoted her life to her family. She loved cooking, gardening, and shopping which lead to her having a catering company. June's family would like to thank Dr. Troy Bishop. To us he became a part of our family with his compassion and love that he had for our mother. There are truly no words to express our feelings of gratitude. We also would like to thank the Coumadin Clinic, CYO, and her friends there, Passport, and the nurses and hospice staff at Akron City Hospital Acute Palliative Care Unit. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in June's name to Akron City Hospital Acute Palliative Care Unit, 525 E. Market St., P.O. Box 2090, Akron, Ohio, 44309. A visitation will be held Thursday, February 25, from 11 am to 1 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a memorial service will follow at 1 pm with Pastor Mark Brazle officiating.
