June M. Marks

June M. Marks, 93, of North Canton and formerly of Randolph, Ohio passed away November 22, 2018. June was born in Chelmsford, England on June 18, 1925 to the late Frank and Violet Kent. June was sent to Australia by her mother, along with many other children of England during WW II seeking refuge. While there, she served in the Australian Nursing Corp. where she met her husband Charles. Upon arriving in the United States, she resided on the family farm in Randolph and was an active member of Grace Episcopal Church in Ravenna. During retirement, she enjoyed many activities including tennis, walking club, painting and traveling. She also enjoyed spending winters in Bonita Springs, Florida.

In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles and son, Robert Marks.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Irene (Dennis) Alber of Medina, George (Ava) Marks of Canton, and Paula (Keith) Moore of North Canton; daughter-in-law, Joyce Marks of Hartville; grandchildren, Greg (Alyson) Alber, Ben (Mary) Alber, Gina Palmer, Joey Palmer, Nicole Marks (Chris McCarthy) and Sam Marks (Diedre Kent); and great-grandchildren, Bree Brown, Sophie, Owen, Madison, Makayla and Nellie Alber, Alayna Marks and Lily Palmer.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 12 pm until time of funeral service at 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, with Rev.
