June Petty, 79, of Lakemore, passed away March 18, 2007. June was born April 26, 1927 in McGuffey, OH to the late Ernest and Mary Parr. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Petty; brothers, Jesse, Andy, Alan, Bob, and Dewey Parr; and sisters, Ida Bell and Ernestine Rush. She is survived by her children, Gene (Polly) Petty, John Petty, Lorraine (Roger) Wright, Roberta (Dan) Lemley, and Sharon (Darren) Beach; grandchildren, Bobby Petty, Mike (Debbie) Petty, Traci (Jimmy)Redmond, Tawnia (Matt) Jones, John Nicholas Petty, Trisha (Dan) Lindsey, Jessica Wright, Derek (Danielle) Lemley, and Melissa (Travis) Warner; and great-grandchildren, Jacob and Audriana Petty, Hailey, Mason, and Gavin Petty, Jimmy and Paige Redmond, Josh, Justin, and Abbie Jones, Taylor and Harleigh Lindsey; and very special friends, Kaye Jones, Fern Parr, Audrey Glatther, and little Lily Keener. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
