June E. Price

June E. Price, 90, passed away peacefully at home March 6, 2024 surrounded by her family. Born in Akron, Ohio to Forest and Bessie (Black) Brown, she was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Springfield High School and worked many jobs over the years including Teledyne Monarch Rubber, Goodyear Tire & Rubber, waitressing, and last before retiring as a home caregiver. June enjoyed playing bingo, cards, watching softball and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Price; son, Michael Price; siblings, John, Paul, Lois. June will be sadly missed by her children, Kim (Joe) Graffuis, David (Kim) Price; grandchildren, April (Mike) White, Lori (George) Long, Joshua (Amanda) Minor, Ericka, Kristen; many great grandchildren.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to June's caregiver, Shaylee.

Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, March 15, 2024 from 3 to 4 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Once cremation takes place after the services June will be laid to rest with her late husband Donald at Holy Cross Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial donations in June's name to the charity of their choice. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
