Karen A. Burgoon brought into our lives May 27, 1957, God called this angel home Dec. 26, 2005. Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She worked at Akron General Medical Center for 15 years, and she loved being there. She was known by many and loved by all. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Marcella and Cora Lampe and John and Annie Starr, and her mother and father-in-law Florence and Robert Burgoon. She leaves behind to keep her memory alive, her husband of 30 years Jim, her daughters Angela (Ronnie) Kennedy, Annette Burgoon (Tony), Amanda Burgoon (Tommy), grandchildren, Dominick, Morgan, Dakota and Gabrielle. Her parents Don and Stella Lampe, brothers and sisters John (Laurie) Lampe, Bob (Brenda) Lampe, Don Lampe, David (Mary) Lampe, Janet (Chuck) Burgoon, Tom Lampe, Tom Zimmerman, many nieces and nephews, and friends, too many to mention. Karen will be truely missed by all. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., with Mass of Christian Burial to held on Friday at 10 AM at St Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St., Akron. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
