Karen Anne Klugh, 59, went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2012. Karen worked at Akron City Hospital for 31 years. She was a member of The Chapel, Green Campus. Karen enjoyed bowling and spending time with friends and family.
Preceded in death by her father, Owen Lee Phifer; brother, David Lee Phifer; parents-in-law, Willard and Betty Klugh. Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Irvin; her mom, Ann Wyse; sister, Holly (Mark) Reese; brother, Eric Phifer; numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, 1 p.m., at The Chapel, Green Campus, 1800 Raber Rd., Green, OH 44685. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Carl at The Chapel, 135 Fir Hill, Akron, OH 44304.
