Karen Sue Baker, age 57 of Lecanto, FL, formerly of Akron, died at her home on May 17, 2017.
She was born on June 2, 1959 in Barberton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Dennis and Fostella Jones Elliot.
Karen was a bus driver in Lecanto, Fl and also retired in the packing and shipping department from Franklin Printing in Akron.
Karen is survived by her husband, Ryall D. Baker, III, whom she married on November 4, 2001; her children, Charles "Chuck" (Shelley) Parsons, Rochelle (Mike) Heard, Shawn (Jen) Brumbaugh, Donnie (Chris) Carpenter, and Ronnie Bias; seven grandchildren; her two sisters, Phyllis Vassar and Linda Elliot; her second parents, Larry and Carroll Dickinson; her son-in-law, Mark Miller;
many nieces and nephews; and her very close friends that are family.
Other than her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her children, Carla Miller, Anthony Brumbaugh, and Joey Elliot.
Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
