Karen Lee Fox, age 68 of Akron passed away peacefully at Akron City Hospital on Saturday, March 19, 2022. She was born to the late John W. and Wilma {Davis} Randall Sr. on November 1, 1953.
Karen's memory will always be cherished by her daughter Stefanie (Tyler) Burns; granddaughter Kyla Burns; companion Dean Luyster; Dean's children Hannah (Ben Swaidner) Luyster and Spencer Luyster; brother John (Jacquie) Randall; nephew Sean (Jessica) Randall.
Karen spent her childhood and adult life in Uniontown and Akron. Karen enjoyed working as a secretary at Hartville Church of God, though her first and foremost priority was raising Stefanie. Karen loved to be a mom, and was excited to become a Grandma. Though she was promoted to Guardian Angel far sooner than we hoped, those who love her most will carry on her memory.
Family and friends are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A celebration of Karen's life will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Sherry Ackerman officiating.
