Karen Gene Holl, 64, passed away on September 24, 2011.
The daughter of Eugene and Dawn Shuey, she was born on December 7, 1946 in Akron, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving spouse, David; son, Kurt (Wendy); daughter, Laura (Adam) Lander; grandchildren, Korey, Brayden, Camden, Payton; sisters, Audrey, Diane, Charlene; brothers, Richard and Roy Brooks, whose mother, Reva, was an inspiration to Karen; and all other Ash-Brooks extended family members; other nieces and nephews who helped celebrate her life.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 29 from 6-8 PM at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a Remembrance Service will be held following visitation at 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Summa Hospice/Acute Palliative Care Unit.
