Karen Denise Pressler, 73, of Uniontown, OH, passed away on March 6, 2024 at Summa Akron City Hospital.
She was born on January 18, 1951 to the late Charles and Mary Ann Alfman.
Karen worked as a home health aide for Summa for many years. She devoted her life to caring for others, not only for work but for family as well.
On August 26, 1970, she married Thomas A. Pressler. Karen and Thomas lived in Springfield Township, Ohio for all of Karen's life.
Karen is survived by her loving husband, Thomas; son, Doug (Pati) Pressler; daughter-in-law, Heather (Kevin) Pressler; and two grandsons, Alec Vanbibber and Seth Pressler.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ken (Marlene) Alfman; brother, Dale Alfman; and beloved dog, Floyd.
Cremation has taken place and there are no formal services at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Karen's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
