Karen Roberts

Karen L. Roberts, 59, of Knoxville TN, passed away January 10, 2002 at St. Mary Hospice in Knoxville, TN. She was born August 28, 1942 in Akron OH to the late Fred & Martha Vinsel. She has been a resident of Knoxville for 8 years and was employed in the Security Department at the University of Tennessee. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Joseph Roberts. She is survived by her daughters Andrea (Jeffrey) Hensley of Knoxville TN, Heather (Mark) Rowe of N. Carolina; son John Roberts of Tennessee; 4 grandchildren; sisters Susan (Harry) Conner of Akron, Barb (Howard) Guess of Akron. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. with Dr. Michael Goff officiating where family and friends will be received Tuesday from 6 - 8 p.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
