Karen Sue Bell
(nee Booth)
ELLET – On Friday, October 26, 2012, Karen Sue Bell (nee Booth), 63, was received into the arms of her Lord Jesus and her Dad, Leonard Booth. She died peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Karen was born December 29, 1948 in Philippi, West Virginia. The eldest child of Leonard and Edith (Murphy) Booth, she grew up in Akron, Ohio and was a 1966 graduate of Ellet High School. In 1967, Karen married Duke Huth, and they were blessed with three children: Ginger Renee, Kimberly Ann, and Jason Leonard. In 1977, Karen married Frank Bell and became step-mom to Rocky, Russ, and Tina. She and Frank raised their blended family in Mogadore, Ohio.
Karen worked as a pharmacy tech at Eastwood Drugstore in Mogadore and loved serving and helping her customers. She also worked at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital as a switch board operator and in the Pain Management department. She was a member of Tallmadge Church of Christ and loved her church family.
Karen had the best hearty laugh, and the most beautiful handwriting. She was a friendly, outgoing person with a giving heart. She was gifted in arts and crafts and painting. She loved Christmas and will be remembered for her huge Santa collection and beautifully decorated gifts, but her proudest accomplishment in life was being Mom and Grandma.
Preceded in death by her Dad and in-laws, Charles "Ty" and Marcadas "Tillie" Bell, Karen will be greatly missed by her husband, Frank; her Mom, Edith; her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Sharon Booth; nephews, Michael (Chris) Booth and their son, Nathaniel and Kevin Booth; her children, Rocky Bell, Russ Bell, Tina Sentelik, Ginger (Billy) Brake, Kimberly (Mark) Halliwill, Jason (Jamie) Huth and son-in-law, Dan Sentelik, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Her legacy of love will continue through her grandchildren: Shawn, Stacy, and Jamie Bell, Bryce and Baylie Huth, Daniel and Lauren Sentelik, Preslie and Paige Halliwill, Delaney and Hennessy Brake and great-granddaughter, Aubriella Rose.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, October 30th from 4-8pm at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Funeral services will be 11am on Wednesday, October 31st, also at NEWCOMER, Dwayne Cummings officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore.
We love you, and we'll miss you greatly, but we trust in God's promise of eternal life for those who love Jesus and look forward to the day when we are all reunited!
