Karen S. Hostetler (nee Fortune), 68, of Akron, passed away August 19, 2013. She was born in Ironton, OH on April 11, 1945 to the late Murrill And Verda Fortune. Karen loved so many things in life, fishing, golfing, bowling and playing bingo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; 4 brothers. Karen is survived by her children, Buddy, Patty (Don) Edwards; grandchild, Bradley Edwards; sister, Patty (David) Fortune Fuerst; companion, JimTowslee; many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will take place on Friday, August 23 at 5 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH.
