Karlan B. Marxen, 62, of Akron, OH passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, September 3, 2020. He was born to parents Lloyd and Catherine Marxen on November 13, 1957 in Akron.
Preceding him in death are his parents; and brothers, Terry, Cecil and Kevin Marxen.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Stephanie Waddell and Trica Marxen; grandchildren, Austin, Brittanie, Nattalie, Sierra, Emillie and Alissa; sisters, Barbara (Bob) and Karen (Clayton); sister-in-law, Rose; and many nieces and nephews.
Karlan enjoyed walks in the park, was a sports enthusiast, watched NASCAR and wrestling, and loved bowling. He would often be out cruising in his Camaro on a Saturday. He will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be later held by his family.
