KATHLEEN BAILEY


Kathleen Bailey, 87, of Akron OH, passed away August 13, 2001 after a long illness. She was born February 7, 1914 in Newark WV to the late John Monroe & Rejina (Hamrick) Leep. Kathleen was a member of NE-HTA Chapter #500 Order of the Eastern Star but most importantly, she was devoted to her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fay Bailey; granddaughter Laurel Reich; brother Roland Leep and sister Bonna Exline. She was the loving mother of Mona Russey of Akron OH, Noma (Roger) Robison of Richmond VA, Duane "Bud" (Marsha) Bailey of Kent OH; grandmother of Lynita, Tina, Kathy, Thomas Fay and Bobbie; great-grandmother of 7. Friends may call Thursday from 5 - 8 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron OH 44305, where funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dan L. Wright officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
