Kathleen D. Williams

Kathleen D. Williams (Bagnato) of Akron, age 76, passed away on August 4th, 2021 at The Briarwood Healthcare facility in Stow. After many years of failing health, the family is grateful that she is no longer suffering and no longer in pain. For many years "Kathy" was the life of the party, and after retiring from Summit County CSB in 2005, she loved spending time by herself on the beaches in California.

She is survived by her children Michael (Kelly) Williams, and Kim (Jason) Kleps; grandchildren, Morgan, Mia, Sydney, Brandon, and Riese; multiple cousins, nieces, and nephews; and dear friends and neighbors who came to her aid throughout the last several years as her health was declining.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life service on Friday September 3rd, 2021 from 5:30pm-7:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Rd. in Akron, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family will have a Charity Gift Tree at the service where donations can be made to benefit Mental Health, Addiction, and other non profit organizations.
