Kathryn E. Flory, 61, went home to be with the Lord on March 12, 2012.
She loved to collect cats, cook, bake, and her family, especially her grandchildren.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Mable Holbert; sister, Sandra Fisher; and brothers, Frank E. Holbert, David Holbert, Dennis Holbert, and Dan Holbert.
She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, David; daughter, Suzy Smith; grandson, David Smith; granddaughters, Danielle Smith, and Lisa Smith; great-grandchildren, Jordon Smith, and Joclyn Smith; sister, Peggy Reynolds; brothers, Ted Holbert, and Jack Holbert; and many loving nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 14, from 4 to 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a service will be held Thursday, March 15, at 9:30 am with Pastor Rick Fuson officiating.
Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
