Kathryn Lynn Ventura

Kathryn "Kathy" Lynn Ventura, 62, of Jackson Township (Canton), and formerly residing in Chagrin Falls for 36 years, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at her home.

Kathy is survived by her loving Husband Mark, Children Jessica (Jim) Berry, Mark (Erin) Ventura and Grandchildren Marko and Jenevieve. Parents of husband Mark; Mark and Wanda Ventura. Brothers Richard (Kym) Tolway, Tom Bork and Jon Bork.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Tolway.

Kathy was born in 1958 in Eastlake, Ohio where she attended Eastlake North High School. She married husband Mark in 1982 and a year later moved to Auburn Township (Chagrin Falls), Ohio to raise their family. She was a wonderful and loving mother to Jessica and Mark. She devoted her life to raising her children and spending time with her family and friends. In 2004, she received her medical assistant degree and went on to have a fulfilling 16-year career with the Cleveland Clinic. She was the kindest, patient and most gentle person you will ever meet, her smile would light up a room. Kathy was best known as a second mom to her son and daughter's friends. She also shared her love with desserts, people waited in anticipation of what treat she was going to bring. She will be greatly missed.

Per Kathy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Her Life Event will take place on Sunday, October 4th at Pine Lake Trout Club • 17021 Chillicothe Rd. in Bainbridge Township (Chagrin Falls), Ohio from 1-5PM.
