Kathryn G. Welder, 82, passed away April 27, 2021 with her children by her side. She grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania before moving to Pittsburgh, where she worked as a secretary. Kathy later moved to California, where she married her husband of 50 years. They had 3 children and moved to Seattle for 2 years before returning to the Pittsburgh area. Then in 1985 Kathy and her husband moved to Vermilion, Ohio where they bought a "you pick" blueberry farm (1040 bushes), working it for 8 years before retiring. After becoming grandparents they moved back to the area to be closer to their grandchildren.
Kathy was a lovely caring individual who enjoyed the beach, the farm, traveling, reading, playing cards, word puzzles, Facebooking, texting, watching TV and spending time with her family and friends.
